Niki & I went to a Hooters in West Springfield a few months back (she was curious), and every time someone entered the restaurant, all the bubbly waitresses would yell "Welcome to Hooters!" at them. It created not so much a sense of welcome, but one of forced attention... "We know that you're here to experience cute women, and we SEE you doing it!"
